Live Butterfly Release

Getting pre-wedding butterflies is a common occurrence that affects most couples as they prepare to begin their lives together. However, it doesn't have to be that way and there are a number of things you can do to prevent wedding butterflies.

If you’re planning on tying the knot soon but find yourself nervous about the wedding your part of an elite group of people commonly known as the bride or groom. Getting pre-wedding butterflies or “jitters” is a common occurrence that affects most couples as they prepare to begin their lives together. However, it doesn't have to be that way and there are a number of things you can do to prevent wedding butterflies.

1. Talk openly about your feelings with your fiancé. As simple as it sounds, this can be the most important thing you can do to prevent wedding butterflies. Most people are surprised to find out that their fiancé is experiencing similar feelings. Discussing your feelings openly with one another will help calm both of your nerves about the big day.

2. Plan ahead. One of the main reasons that so many brides stress out over their wedding day is because they don’t feel prepared. Most brides are so concerned about details of the day that they loose perspective and don’t enjoy the moment. Grooms, on the other hand, tend to worry much less about the actual wedding as they do the commitment that follows it. So sorry guys, this bit of advice won’t help you in that area. Proper planning will go a long way to helping you worry less about all the details.

3. Have fun. Of course, this is easier than it sounds but your wedding should be filled with joy so try and smile both before and on your big day. One fun and creative idea to help prevent wedding butterflies is to actually purchase butterflies to release at your wedding. That way when people ask if you’ve got wedding butterflies you can proudly answer yes. Then at the special moment during your wedding you and your guests can release the live butterflies into the air as a celebration of your love.
